The McCormick Building
The McCormick building was a challenge from the very beginning. The building was originally completed in 1890 and the new owners wanted to maintain the original look. There was a consideration to try to use Colorado Historical funds for the window replacements but the primary restriction of replacing the windows to the original construction was a huge deterrent. Back in the 1890’s there were no thermal pane windows, which meant the new windows had to be single pane. In today’s prices, that meant heating bills in excess of $2500 per month.
Sierra Pacific was able to design double pane windows that exactly matched the original design and look of the original windows perfectly, while still providing the efficiency of double pane. The results are obvious.

| The Chronical News
The original 30's building that now houses the Chronicle News was designed with storefront around and subsequently changed to be brick. The new owners wanted to revert back to the original plans. Keller Glass worked with archived pictures and the original architectual plans and restored the the building back to it's original design. The second phase of the restoration which is the upper story is currently being designed for completion scheduled for 2007.
