| In inclement weather such as temperatures below 40 degrees or rain, indoor installation is required. If its raining, a garage is enough to ensure proper installation. In temperatures below 40 degrees, installation of a windshield must be in a heated garage. Adhesive manufacturers do not recommend using their adhesives in temperatures below 40 degrees.
Because different adhesives are used in residential or commercial glass replacement, the weather and temperature restrictions do not apply. In most cases, we can replace broken glass at home or business within 24 hours. Some situations such as tinted glass, or extraordinary size may result in a delay, but usually no more than an additional 24 hours.
